REAL Teen Action

REAL Teen Action is designed for 7th-9th Grade students to develop alcohol, tobacco & violence prevention activities afterschool to demonstrate the REAL strategies (Refuse, Explain, Avoid, Leave) they have learned during the curriculum and/or training through skits, steps, songs, mimes, etc. to be published, videoed and/or performed to their peers and community. The goal is to positively impact youth’s perception of risk, perceived peer norms, decision making, and favorable attitudes toward alcohol, tobacco, other drug use and violence.
