Keeping it Real
Program Overview:
Keepin It Real (Refuse, Explain, Avoid, Leave) is an evidence-based curriculum that teaches refusal skills, while also helping students realize the risk of drugs and avoid risky drug related situations by building on decision-making and communication skills. The goal of this program is to help students learn drug resistance strategies and refuse offers to use drugs. Fourth and fifth graders participate in 10-35 minute sessions during a school setting.
